The cafeteria of the Monastero is open everyday from 9.30 am to sunset
At any time of the day you can find something tasty to eat and drink here, for a sweet or savoury break, cheek to cheek with the splendours surrounding us.
Freshly-baked cakes still warm from the ovens of the restaurant “Il Monastero”, whose cooks are steeped in the traditions of time-honoured recipes : apple pie, orange Caprese, panettoni with yoghourt and fruits. Coffee made with Passalacqua blend, squash made with oranges and lemons from the Castle.
Our suggestions for lunch: a wide variety of salads with tomatoes, potatoes, basil from our organic garden, and with buffalo mozzarella cheese, tuna fish, feta, olives. Tomato bruschetta, bruschetta with vegetables, with beans. Grilled and oiled vegetables: marrows, aubergines, peppers. Everyday we also prepare a different hot dish like: baked pasta, aubergine parmigiana, omelettes.
Home-made biscuits with almonds, hazelnuts, chocolate. Monastero cakes: chocolate caprese, fruit tarts Tea and coffee, fruit shakes and juices.
In the dreamy atmosphere of sunset, taking an aperitif at Il Monastero is a delightful moment. Various aperitifs, white wine, Prosecco, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Small appetizers just taken out of the oven, canapés and snacks
